Dear Client, |
We wish to inform you of a recent scam typology highlighted by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), which targets users of digital payment token (DPT) wallets. According to the advisory, victims were misled by videos hosted on a counterfeit TradingView YouTube channel, which instructed them to install a purportedly official TradingView application. Following these instructions resulted in the installation of malicious code, thereby granting scammers unauthorized access to victims’ devices and compromising their DPT wallets. We strongly advise all clients to remain vigilant and refrain from downloading applications or clicking on links from unofficial sources. It is important to always verify the legitimacy of any platform or application through its official website or trusted channels. You may access the official advisory issued by MAS and the Singapore Police Force via the following link: Should you have any concerns or encounter any suspicious activity, please contact us immediately for assistance. Thank you for your attention to this important matter, and for your continued trust in MCTPay.
Best Regards, MCTPay |
