1. Software Engineer – PHP

The MCT Group is a globally active Fin-Tech enterprise focusing on digital Payment services, e-Wallet, eCommerce and digital payments platform. The owner-operated and financed company was founded by Wells Xu in 2008, and has grown from a two-man team to become a specialist employing over 20 domain experts. Since founding the company, we have delivered over a hundred prestigious projects of all sizes to customers in a range of industries. The MCT Group and its brands MCTPAY, CCPAY, IOGBL, MCT CAPITAL and LogiSmartTech are based at two locations: Singapore and Shenzhen, China.

Your responsibilities:
Good object-oriented programming skills in PHP
Good MySQL and database design skills

2. Software Engineer – Java

Our Java team is responsible for the development and architecture of applications in distributed, mission critical and fail-safe systems. We are looking for exceptional technicians to support us in this endeavor.

As Java Engineer, you will work with us on every level of the stack, from network layers and HTTP APIs to file systems and databases. We are looking for a strong backend developer who enjoys working with us, to produce code that is appealing and ready for production. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, debugging, support and documentation of highly available and distributed services, infrastructure and automated tools throughout the entire software application cycle.

What you bring to the table:
You have developed, rolled out and maintained robust applications in a production environment
Your many years of experience allows you to keep a cool head while solving complex technical problems in tricky situations.
You have profound knowledge about the Java ecosystem, the JVM, relational databases and networks
JPA2, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Spring, Hibernate, Google App Engine, Datastore, GKE, Cloud Endpoints, Jetty/Embedded Jetty, Gradle, Ant, Ivy, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, the Linux Shell

3. System Engineer – Linux – DevOps

We are looking for a Linux System Engineer, who has a comprehensive understanding of all components needed to operate a modern web application stack. This includes knowledge in networking, established infrastructure and application management practices, hardware and operating systems.

Your Profile:
Excellent knowledge of common Internet services (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, Mail)
Experience with the operation of Linux server infrastructure (Debian) using modern automation tools
Experience in development and implementation of web projects (configuration, monitoring, network design, high availability & load balancing)
Good network knowledge (Ethernet, Routing, Load Balancing)
Readiness to take over on-call duties within the team
Good communication skills in English and Chinese

Advantageous:
Practical experience with database optimization and performance (Percona, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis)
Knowledge of programming languages like Bash, Python or Ruby
Experience with virtualization (KVM) and container solutions (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with code development tools (version control)
Experience with Enterprise Hardware (Supermicro, HP)
Absolute plus: Experience with compliance processes in the payment and PCI-DSS environment

4. Front-End Engineer – Javascript

We are looking for a Front-End Engineer to reinforce our team. MCT Group is a dynamic and modern company, where work pleasure gets combined with professional challenge.

What you bring to the table:
Solid knowledge of JavaScript/ES6
Well-founded knowledge of Typescript
Know-How with different web browsers and their compatibility problems
Knowledge of HTML/CSS
Version control experience (GIT)
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently

Maybe you already have some experience with it:
Javascript Frameworks (Angular, vue.js)
React and/or React Native
the handling of LESS/SASS

Your responsibilities:
Development of web applications and mobile apps
Further development and optimization of web frontends
Participation in various concepts and designs
